The tester is used to control the quality of the nail bit arbor. Just insert the nail bit into the tester hole and turn it in any direction. If there is resistance from the mandrel, the nail bit must be replaced with a new one. The crooked nail bit is responsible for the nail drill blade heating up and damage to the nail drill collet. The cost of repairing a nail drill is many times higher than the purchase value of a new nail bit so we should systematically check the nail bit for suitability for further work.
