use tools only for the purposes for which they are intended always store tools with the blades facing up avoid dropping or hitting tools to prevent damage to the cutting edges store tools in a dry place and in the packaging intended for this purpose. The air in the room should be dry, and the tools should not be stored in plastic packaging. This limits air access and may cause condensation, which is harmful to steel. handle tools very delicately. Some mechanical damage is invisible to the naked eye. Blades, tips, and mechanisms require particular care.
Proper maintenance of Bionessa tools:
Remember that the proper cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization process should be performed after each use of the tools.
Cleaning: Thoroughly clean the tools of any residual dust, tissues, nails, or hair with a brush. Then rinse the tools with distilled water*.
- Use distilled water for cleaning to avoid discoloration and rusting of the tools. Tap water contains minerals that can deposit on the tools and have a negative impact on sterilization.
Disinfection: The disinfection process can be carried out in a vessel filled with disinfectant or disinfecting solution or in an ultrasonic cleaner using preparations intended for this purpose. Remember to completely immerse the tools in the solution. After disinfection, remove the tools and let them dry completely*.
- Cleaning/disinfecting solutions should be prepared according to the instructions on the product leaflet. We particularly recommend adhering to the concentration of the solution, which has both hygiene and economic consequences. Too high a concentration can damage the tools, while too low a concentration will not disinfect selected microorganisms.
Sterilization: The tool sterilization process is carried out in an autoclave. The recommended method of sterilization is steam sterilization under pressure at a temperature of 134 degrees Celsius (do not exceed 200 degrees). The sterilization process should be carried out in accordance with the recommendations indicated on the sterilization device. Remember to open all tools so that sterilization covers every element of the tool. Before sterilization, lubricate the moving mechanisms of the tools with a special preparation.
In the case of steam sterilization, we recommend using water-soluble lubricant.
